relative to your Golf Club. Suggestions and/or comments regarding the website are welcome. If you do not wish

Message from the President
The executive committee has recommended the following:
1. dues for the 2010 season be reduced to $50.00 per adult member...$25.00 for a junior [under 18]...
2. No weekend tournaments...
3. Weekday events only [generally on Monday]...
4. Events to be scheduled by a member of the club at a course of their choice..this eliminates expensive
tournament fees...9 events March through November...
5. Players to pay for their green fees and/or cart [if they want one], individually on the day of the event...
6. Events to be limited to 16 members [4 foursomes]...
7. Players in the event to contribute $10.00 for a prize fund and $10.00 for skins competition , if they desire to
enter the skins...long drive competition to be organized on the day of the event by a player on their own...
8. Points for low net as before will be awarded as will points for the par threes...
9. Year end prizes to continue at the same rate...low net--150 for 1st, 100 for 2nd 50 for 3rd; low gross 100
-minimum events must be played to be eligible; also most improved for 50 will be awarded...club will contribute
$10.00 per closest to the hole per event...

January Update
we made it...20 members as of 12-31-09 and counting...welcome new member Dick
Hamblin sponsored by Bob Brandi...
remember to look on line on our website www.fogcitylinksters.com for all the latest
information and links to other interesting golf site including weather for the local
courses...also remember that this year we will be holding our club events on
Mondays with the person in charge getting tee times as close as possible...prizes
for year end remain as last year with event prizes being paid out of a pool of money
paid by the entrants....looks like this year's competition will be wide open now that
Tiger is out of the running [he will be contributing his time effort and foundation
money to lawyers and the courts on a weekly basis instead]...good luck and Happy
